
What is the IPART process?
After the Council meeting, Council submitted their application for a Special Rate Variation (SVR) to the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART).
IPART have now opened their submissions from the community.
You can find out more information on the process, complete a quick 5 minute survey and/or lodge a submission to IPART by 17 March below.

Before making a submission we recommend you read both the IPART Submission Policy
and the
Special Variation Fact Sheet.
Submissions will be received
by IPART up until
11:59pm on 17 March 2025.
IPART will announce its decision on the maximum rate increase in May/June.
The councillors will then
vote on what rate rise
should be implemented
given the maximum allowed
by IPART.
We also encourage you to
write to your ward councillors, respectfully expressing your concerns on the rate rise
if you haven’t already,
as well as the
